    Building Champions: We're proud sponsors of the Luther Men's Volleyball team, supporting both athletics and student success at Luther College. We also believe in helping build up a new generation of hard-working, creative and confident staff, which is why we actively hire high school and college students to workon our team, as well as offer both virtual and in-person internships.

Catering

Celebrate any occasion with Sugar Bowl's delicious catering! Whether it's an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, we offer flexible options to fit your needs.


Sweeten the end of your wedding reception with our treats, impress colleagues with an in-house celebration at work, or make any family event unforgettable.



Starting at just $5.08 per person for 100 guests (with a $200 deposit), we have a catering option that fits your budget!

Sugar Bowl at Your Event

Whether you want a party in the building or you want the party to come to you, we have a rental package for you! Our packages range from $75 to $300 catering to your needs.

  • Sugar Bowl Mobile

    From Spring celebrations to Summer soirées, we've got options! Bring excitement to any gathering with Sugar Bowl Mobile. It is the perfect addition to any event, offering hours of entertainment (and of course delicious treats).


    Catering options begin with suggested 2 tubs of ice cream for 100 guests, with the ability to serve at your next community event or corporate celebration for over 1,000 guests (yes, you can truly invite the whole town).

  • Balcony Package

    With downtown Decorah as the backdrop of your event, the balcony is perfect for any small party. 

    Offered in this package are the following:

    • A $25.00 non-refundable deposit upon reservation.
    • One ice cream treat/person from our menu
    • Outside food and drink allowed.
    • The Sugar Bowl team takes care of clean-up. 

    Note: Groups on the balcony may not exceed 11 persons per State Fire Marshal guidelines.

  • Upstairs Package

    Welcome to the upstairs, with the Decorah mural as your backdrop. This option includes:

    • One ice cream treat per person
    • Outside food and drink allowed.
    • Access to the balcony.
    • Our team takes care of clean-up.

    Note: Groups on the second floor may not exceed 40 persons per State Fire Marshal guidelines. This is a $200/ hour event space. (A $50.00 non-refundable deposit upon reservation)

  • Building Package

    The whole building is yours! Plus of course the staff who will be ready to serve you:

    •     One ice cream treat/person
    •     Outside food and drink allowed
    •     Enjoy the upstairs, balcony and main floor seating
    • Our team takes care of clean up

    Note: Full Building groups may not exceed 49 people on the premises at one time per State Fire Marshal guidelines. At $300 an hour fee applies.
